Cannot Wait!
We are looking forward so much to catching up with old friends and making new ones. To seeing the beauty of East Africa once again and traveling further afield than last time. Our northern most point will be Apac...the mosquito capital of Africa apparently...but home to some of the people I am most looking forward to seeing again.

Suffice to say Martin's prophetic last post came true and the bikes did not get off on time due to the incompetence of the shippers. As a result we had to pull the plug on shipping them by sea and send them via air freight otherwise they simply would not have arrived in time!

Even this was not without bureaucratic obstacles and, of course, a lot more money.

Nevertheless they are there now and we expect to be riding them out of storage within a few hours of landing. This whole episode has   been nothing but stress; we both cannot wait for Friday when we will be able to get out there and relax.
